Why Inerjy
Located in Southern Florida, Inerjy is part of a 25 year old industrial equipment manufacturer and has been designing The EcoVert™ since 2012. With a team of 30+ engineers, designers, and staff from all over the world, Inerjy is well positioned to apply its talents to the renewable energy industry and help the environment by producing clean energy. With its 75,000 square foot facility, Inerjy also has the physical resources to produce and test its engineering from concept to quality assurance. The vision of the company and its people is to be a leader in renewable energies and to innovate green technology for mid-sized operations, such as schools, hospitals, and office buildings.
Inland Florida is not the optimal location for wind power due to the low average wind speed, but outside of Inerjy’s facilities is a power producing EcoVert™ that serves many purposes. Primarily it powers the facility, but it also allows Inerjy’s engineers to test new software and observe and troubleshoot the working turbine. Not only that, but the strong tropical storms of Florida test the EcoVert™’s powerful hurricane resistant weather vane mode. The EcoVert™ reads the wind speed and direction ten times a second and adjusts its blades making the turbine unlike anything the world has seen. After small improvements were made, Inerjy launched the 3rd-party certification of The EcoVert™ in Canyon, Texas.
In Texas, The EcoVert™’s power and noise output is being verified so the claim that The EcoVert™ is the most efficient and quietest vertical axis wind turbine can be substantiated. Soon, The EcoVert will be a common site in any city or town across the world.
