History
The Company was founded in 1991 as ‘Turnkey Solutions Engineering’ by brothers Alex and Jamie Schlinkmann. TSE focused on building test equipment for both the wireless communications and aerospace industries, building more than 100 machines for testing everything from early mobile phones to control surface actuators on commercial aircraft.
Many of these machines are still in use today. In 1997 ‘Automatic Manufacturing Systems’ was formed to focus the company on serial production of industrial equipment.
The company launched its very successful line of adhesive assembly machines under the name “AccuPlace”. Several models were introduced including a large robotic platform with vision capability and a sleek print-and-apply labeling machine considered as having the highest capability in the industry. In 2008 the company launched an instrument sold into medical laboratories to print on microscope slides—and successfully negotiated a long-term exclusive OEM contract with the leader in the laboratory equipment market for that machine.
Today AccuPlace’s new product development primarily focuses its resources on medical laboratory equipment and efficient manufacturing practices for these products. With our newest subsidiary, Inerjy, our goal is to develop a respected brand, just as our previous successes have been. Our focus on the emerging renewable energy equipment market, and more specifically wind energy, is a natural growth from our deep engineering roots to the needs of today’s world. Inerjy is sustaining our passion and leading our team to new levels of greatness.
